Recent apps were introduced to stimulate creativity. The Hyperlapse and Layout are two examples.

 

Hyperlapse

The Hyperlapse app was launched in 2014 and allows users to create high quality time-lapse videos. Cinema, a built-in stabilization tech that eliminates shake, allows you to create captivating and professional looking videos. The stabilization algorithm’s purpose is to capture fluid videos.

Hyperlapse is much simpler than the old days when making quality videos required expensive equipment and meticulous planning. You can simply tap the start recording button once, and then tap it again to stop.

Then, you can choose a playback speed from 1x to 12x. The faster the video, the higher the level.

Time-lapse videos are often shown in a faster speed, similar to a fast forward. The Hyperlapse app is perfect for documenting sunsets and flower blooms, birds in flight, or any other type of event. It is only available for iOS devices at the moment.

 

Layout

Layout is Instagram’s newest app. You can create one image by using multiple photos that are similar to a collage.

This app instantly displays previews of different layouts as you select photos from your camera roll. To help users find photos featuring people, a Faces option is offered.

Drag and drop the images you wish to rearrange. To create mirror effects and attractive arrangements, photos can be rotated and flipped.

The Layout app also has a Photo Booth. This functionality triggers a countdown, then snaps photos immediately after being tapped.

The Instagram app is available now for iOS devices. It will soon be available for Android.

Facebook acquired Instagram in April 2012. It grew quickly by 23 percent the following year. Business owners have also used the platform in their marketing campaigns.
